McRoy the Boy from Yalleroi did and he is not happy. McRoy is currently on a mission to fine tune the music composition for bagpipe in the orchestral backing for the eagerly awaited and greatly anticipated Bullring Music CD. He shot off the following email from the banks of Loch Lomond. Rather than summarise the contents I reproduce complete facsimile of McRoy's missive:
"Bullringer, I see from the blog our fans are getting restless, and who could blame them. However as you know excellence takes time, as the Beach Boys understood during the production of Smile. Please can you get an ad in that excellent newspaper, the Gidyea Post to let our many fans know the Bullring Music CD, book to the CD and expensive yet essential merchandise is forthcoming in the near future on a date which is soon approaching. We are so close I think we are now at a stage where we can be that specific about the release date. Let them know more time can now be devoted to the project because the principals have more time on their hands. (Better clarify that correctional centres are not involved in any way with our sudden time richness.)
I am on the banks of Loch Lomond, where as you know I find my inspiration when writing music for bagpipe, and have just completed the musical composition for the interlude in "No Mistakin' Barcy" for bagpipe, harp and that thing Lukeakoski plays. It will be in A minor with double quaver octet and precede the couplet in the following chorus extract: [Got no idea what McRoy is talking about - music is his forte. Bullringer]
‘Cause there’s no mistakin’ Barcy, the heart of the central west
And there’s no forsakin’ city life if you are not impressed
By the smell of the gidyea; an omen of some rain
Or quiet Sunday evenings strolling down to meet the train ……
By sprinklers placed on iron
roofs, cooling wide verandahs
Or going to the footy to cheer
the mighty Sand Goannas.
Anyway Bullringer make sure you get that ad in the Gidyea Post (better make it a half page) and do whatever else you can to appease our many fans, especially that anonymous one we called FARKIE.
PS Can we make the blog compatible for android phones?
PPS What is this I hear about the Rubber Band reforming?
